ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has appointed Mr. Ayalur S. Kumar as its Chief Procurement Officer and Supply Chain head. This strategic appointment aims to strengthen the company's leadership team as it pursues its growth objectives of achieving 10 GW of operational contracted capacity by 2030 in the renewable energy sector. Mr. Kumar brings three decades of extensive experience in procurement and supply chain strategies, operations, and logistics across various sectors including renewable energy, EV infrastructure, biorefinery, and power. His background includes over 15 years in senior leadership roles, with a focus on building and scaling procurement organizations, leading international teams, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing global supply chains. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in International Business from IIFT, New Delhi. ACME Solar Holdings Limited is a prominent integrated renewable energy company with a diverse portfolio encompassing solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions. The company currently has an operational capacity of 2,934 MW and an additional 4,586 MW under construction, including approximately 15 GWh of BESS installation.
