Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL) announced on January 29, 2026, that its Board of Directors has approved significant financial assistance to its subsidiary, Minakshi Agro Industries LLP (MAILLP). The company will provide an additional capital contribution or financial assistance of up to ₹54 Crores to MAILLP for establishing a state-of-the-art bottling facility. This investment will be structured as a capital contribution of up to 25% and a corporate guarantee for the remaining 75% of the debt to be raised by MAILLP. Furthermore, ABDL has approved an additional capital contribution of up to ₹8 Crores to MAILLP for the procurement of land required for this project. This support will now be primarily through a corporate guarantee for debt raised by MAILLP, rather than solely through capital contribution. MAILLP, incorporated on January 10, 2022, is engaged in manufacturing grain spirit at its distillery in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. For the financial year ended March 31, 2025, MAILLP reported a turnover of ₹1,589.64 Lakhs. The acquisition of MAILLP falls within related party transactions, but it is conducted at arm's length. The stated strategy behind this expansion is to enhance manufacturing capacity to meet increasing demand in the western region, particularly Maharashtra, and international markets.
