ABB India Limited has announced a change in its senior management. The fixed-term contract for Mr. Moonish Ghuge, Local Division President – MOTR, has been foreclosed, and he has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect as of January 19, 2026.

To ensure leadership continuity, Mr. Roger Buchmann, Global Product Line Manager, Traction packages, has been nominated as the Ad-Interim head for the MOTR division. This appointment is effective January 19, 2026, and will remain in place until a suitable successor is identified and appointed.

Mr. Buchmann brings over 27 years of global experience in the railway industry, with a focus on engineering, sales, operations, and P&L leadership. His background includes driving growth, leading M&A initiatives, and managing international teams. He has held various significant roles within ABB since 1998, including Global Product Line Manager for Rail OEM and Head of Sales for Traction Converters. Mr. Buchmann holds master's degrees in electrical engineering and economics from ETH Zürich.
